NOACA's GIS Portal allows users to access and interact with our data in an interactive and clickable web-based mapping environment. The data contained on this site has been collected from within the region or created by NOACA staff and helps in the regional planning process.

 How to use the interactive map

  • Click the Layer button at the top of the page and select the data layer(s) you’re interested in. Each layer displays a different set of characteristics from NOACA’s five-county roadway network.
  • Click the Legend button at the top of the page to find out how to interpret the color coding.
  • Use the zoom tool to find specific locations for data queries. Note: Not all data are available in all areas.
  • Use the hand tool to adjust the map view location.
  • Road segment query results appear in a pop-up box. Scroll to the bottom of the box and click “add to results” to save, compile and print results.
This information should be used for planning purposes only and is considered a work in progress. We are continually working to expand this system with more layers of data.
