State of Ohio Flex Fund Transfer Competitive Grant Descriptions
PID No. 121207 S2024 GCRTA DERG Buses – This new project will utilize Ohio EPA DERG funding to replace five diesel buses with five CNG buses. Funds are programmed in 2025 to support the purchase of vehicles with funding split 67% ODOT-Controlled CMAQ and 33% local match.
PID No. 122370 GCRTA OWMP Bus Stop Improvements – This new project will utilize ODOT OWMP funding to improve bus stops and shelters at job centers. Funds are programmed in 2025 to support the purchase and installation of bus shelters and amenities with funding split 80% ODOT-Controlled STBG and 20% local match.
PID No. 123081 GCRTA Connectworks – This new program will utilize ODOT OWMP funding to expand the operation of GCRTA’s microtransit pilot programs. Funds are programmed in 2025 to support the operating costs with a funding split of 50% ODOT-Controlled CMAQ and 50% local match.
PID No. 123126 GCRTA Microtransit for Workforce Feasibility Study and Transit Waiting Environment – This new project is to evaluate the existing GCRTA and Lorain transit microtransit pilot programs and feasibility of inter-county solutions. It will also improve bus stops and shelters at job centers. Funds are programmed in 2025 to support the study and purchase and installation of bus shelters and amenities with funding split 80% ODOT-Controlled STBG and 20% local match.
PID No. 123163 S2025 GCRTA DERG Buses – This new project will utilize Ohio EPA DERG funding to replace five diesel buses with five CNG buses. Funds are programmed in 2025 to support the purchase of vehicles with funding split 75% ODOT-Controlled CMAQ and 25% local match.
