Background:
The City of Lorain applies for RAISE funds in 2024 and was awarded funding for its planning study along E. 36th Street. This project will design approximately 3.3 miles of new and improved roadway and multi-use paths. It will also design roadside, green infrastructure and address approximately one mile of degraded storm water channel running adjacent to E. 36th Street in an area impacted by significant flooding.
