Northeast Ohio Loves Transit Challenge

Fall in love with transit, one ride at a time in February! Discover the joys of taking transit throughout the month of February by participating in Gohio Commute’s 2026 Northeast Ohio Loves Transit Challenge. This Challenge is open to all residents, employees, students and daily regional travelers in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina Counties.

Participation is simple. Just log all your public transit trips (buses and trains) on the Gohio Commute platform for a chance to win prizes. Let’s show what a difference we can make in our region’s air quality when we leave the car behind!

Win Prizes!
Log your trips, and you’ll be eligible for weekly raffle prizes, as well as one grand prize winner for the overall alternative commuter. Transit is the focus and is encouraged for this challenge - and earns 2 points.  All carbon-free modes are worth 1.5 points. Carpool and vanpool are worth 1 point.  Entries are limited to four trips per day.

Weekly random drawings and overall prizes are donated through support from sponsors:  Laketran, Bike Cleveland, and GCRTA.
