At NOACA, public involvement is essential to building a stronger, healthier, and more connected Northeast Ohio. Throughout the year, NOACA engages residents, community partners, businesses, and local leaders through regional awareness campaigns, outreach initiatives, and public education efforts that support transportation planning, environmental sustainability, air quality improvement, and active transportation.

"Connected Progress" Billboard Campaign

NOACA’s Connected Progress campaign highlights the region’s continued investment in transportation infrastructure, mobility, sustainability, economic development, and communities. Through digital outreach, regional billboards, and community engagement, the campaign showcases how NOACA connects people to opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio. Cleveland Public Library's ONE CLEVELAND!

NOACA is an official One Cleveland Partner to honor Cleveland’s 230th birthday. Hosted by the Cleveland Public Library and local sponsors, NOACA will help spotlight individuals and groups whose creativity, leadership, and impact have helped define Cleveland. Empowering The Culture
Wednesday, July 15, 22 and 29, 2026, 4 – 8 p.m., Atlas Cinemas Shaker Square 6, 13116 Shaker Square
Empowering the Culture is a six-week hybrid community series that explores the power of games culture as a space for storytelling, creativity, mentorship, reflection, and human connection.

Taking place across four in-person Wednesdays on July 8, July 15, July 22, and July 29, followed by two virtual community sessions in August, the series brings together gamers, creators, educators, artists, storytellers, competitors, and community members for a shared cultural experience rooted in play, conversation, and community. FREE. *Registration is required

DANCECleveland's Community Dance Day and Northeast Ohio Student Showcase
Saturday, July 25, 2026, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Across the Playhouse District & Allen Theatre

Starting at 10 am, take part in more than a dozen free classes for all ages and abilities in dance styles including Contemporary, Ballet, African Drum & Dance, Hip Hop, Polynesian, Flamenco, Ballroom, Jazz and more. Community Dance Day is a wonderful time to try out the art form of dance and its many styles and celebrate movement together.

Then, at 3 pm, come see a wonderful free dance performance featuring some of Northeast Ohio's best local youth dancers in Playhouse Square's Allen Theatre! This showcase provides local dance students with a professional performance experience in an iconic Playhouse Square theatre. The showcase will display a wide range of dance styles and will feature the highest caliber of student performers and choreographers from across Northeast Ohio. Tickets will be FREE general admission.

Gohio Commute Office Hours - The New Commute Hub Experience
Join us July 15, from noon to 1:00 p.m., for Gohio Commute Office Hours, a quarterly webinar series that allows you to connect directly with the Gohio Commute team. Learn about new features, updates, and improvements to the Gohio Commute platform, and stay informed about available commuting resources. Participants can ask questions, provide feedback, and receive guidance on using Gohio Commute to support their transportation and ridesharing needs. Registration is required. NOACA Mural Dedication

NOACA proudly unveiled a new mural at its headquarters, celebrating the people, places, and connections that shape our region. The mural reflects our shared commitment to collaboration, mobility, and a vibrant future for Northeast Ohio.

Community partners, staff, and local leaders joined us for the dedication, marking a moment of reflection on where we’ve been—and inspiration for where we’re going. The artwork serves as a daily reminder that thoughtful planning and strong partnerships help move our region forward.
