NOACA was founded in 1968 and the first organizational meeting was held on April 25. From its humble beginnings as the areawide clearinghouse for federal grant-in-aid applications, NOACA has evolved and grown into a vital transportation and environmental planning agency that preserves existing transportation facilities, improves mobility, ensures greater transportation choice and an enhances quality of life for all Northeast Ohioans.
CELEBRATE TRANSPORTATION HISTORY
Please join us for "NOACA Community Day" at the Cleveland History Center on Sunday, August 26. Celebrate the history of our region with a focus on earlier modes of transportation in the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum. The first 100 guests will receive FREE admission courtesy of NOACA, in order to celebrate 50 years of planning for Greater Cleveland. We hope you and your family will join us!
