It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Lake County Commissioner Richard J. Regovich.  Commissioner Regovich has faithfully served on the NOACA Board of Directors since 2023, representing Lake County with dedication and distinction.

During his time with NOACA, Commissioner Regovich was an engaged and thoughtful leader. He served as a member of both the External Affairs and the Planning & Programming Committee, and provided key guidance as Vice Chair of the External Affairs Committee in 2023 and Chair in 2024.

Commissioner Regovich was a strong advocate for collaboration and regional partnership. His steady leadership, practical insight, and commitment to serving the public interest helped shape NOACA’s work in the five-county region.

We extend our sincere condolences to Commissioner Regovich’s family, colleagues in Lake County, and all who had the privilege of working with him. His service and contributions to NOACA and the region will be remembered with gratitude.
