The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) placed third in the 13th Annual Granicus Digital Government Awards competition for the agency’s community engagement efforts related to its long-range plan, eNEO2050: An Equitable Future for Northeast Ohio.

Granicus, the leading provider of government experience software services and solutions, announced the winners in October and selected NOACA from amongst six national finalists in the Community Engagement (Regional/State/Federal) category. New York State Higher Education Services Corporation Communication Team, and Alberta (Canada) Health Services Communications Engagement, received first and second place respectively.

Since 2010, Granicus has honored government entities and employees who have embraced modern technologies that drive awareness of community programs, improve citizen experiences, transform outdated processes, and inspire civic action.

Local, state and federal government entities submitted applications for the 2023 awards across seven categories: Changemaker, Community Engagement, Customer Experience, Digital Transformation, Operational Efficiency, Trust & Transparency, and Website of the Year.
