History/Background:
This project is included in ODOT District 12's SFY 2002 Bridge Program and would be funded from the district's bridge allocation.

Current Conditions:
Valleyview Road bridge is a two lane facility, with a 28' roadway width (curb to curb) and 6' sidewalks. The speed limit on Valleyview Drive is 25 mph.  The average daily traffic (ADT) on Valleyview Road is 1,000 vehicles per day (vpd). The ADT on I-90 is 92,700 vpd (1996).

Proposed Project:
This project involves the replacement of bridge on Valleyview Road, over I-90, in Rocky River .  90- percent ($652,500) of the construction (C) cost will be funded with Interstate Maintenance (IM) funds.  The non-federal share of construction ($72,500) will be provided by ODOT.
