Title: Bridge Replacement on St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland

History/Background:
The bridge replacement on St. Clair Avenue was approved for CEAO-administered Surface Transportation Program (C/STP)/local bridge (LBR) program funds in March 2001.
Current Conditions:
The St. Clair Avenue bridge is located over Rockefeller Park and spans Doan Brook in Cleveland. The average daily traffic is 18,042 vehicles (1992 count). The bridge is 50' wide and has a pavement width of 26'. St. Clair Avenue is a minor arterial. GCRTA buses serve St. Clair Avenue (route #1). This route is one of GCRTA's highest ridership routes.
