Title: Replace Culvert on SR-94 in Hinckley Township Sponsor: ODOT District 3 Name: MED SR 94-18.00 PID No.: 87439 Estimated Total Cost: $100,000 Proposed Source of Federal Funds: ODOT History/Background: This project is in ODOT District 3’s Maintenance Program. Current Conditions: SR-94 is functionally classified as a rural major collector. SR-94 is a two-lane facility. The sponsor reports the pavement width is 27 feet with lanes 11.5 feet wide, two-foot-wide paved shoulders, and one-foot- wide aggregate shoulders. The width of the existing right-of-way is 60 feet. The speed limit is 45 miles per hour. The average daily traffic on SR-94 is 7,500 vehicles per day with four percent trucks (2007 count). Proposed Project: This project involves a culvert replacement on SR-94, 0.25 miles north of SR-303 in Hinckley Township (location map). The estimated cost of construction is $100,000. Eighty percent ($80,000) of the construction cost will be funded with State Surface Transportation Program funds. The non-federal share ($20,000) of the construction cost will be provided by ODOT. This project has an estimated award date of October 1, 2011.
