History/Background:
This project is to be funded with ODOT District 3's, State Surface Transportation Program (S/STP)  funds.

Current Conditions:
SR-303 (Wakeman – LaGrange – Richfield Road) is functionally classified as rural major collector.  The year 2000 average daily  traffic (ADT) on SR-303 is 1,760 vehicles per day. There is no LCT service in the project vicinity. 

Proposed Project:
This project involves the replacement of bridge on SR-303 0.02 miles east of Quarry Road. The bridge is a 16', single span structure over a tributary of  the West Branch of  the Black River, in Pittsfield Township. The right-of-way (RW) cost ($3,000) will be funded by ODOT District 3.  Eighty percent ($136,000) of the construction (C) cost will be funded with S/STP funds.   ODOT District 3 will provide the non-federal share of construction ($34,000). Construction will be scheduled for SFY 2004.
