Title: Replace Concrete Ramps at I-480 and West 130th Street in Cleveland

Proposed Source of Federal Funds: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
History/Background: This project is included in the ODOT District 12's 10 year program.
Current Conditions: I-480 is functionally classified as an urban interstate. The legal speed limit is 55 miles per hour. The average daily traffic varies between 99,850 and 107,600 vehicles per day depending on roadway segment (2002 traffic count). GCRTA operates limited express service along a major portion of this project.
Proposed Project: This project involves replacing the concrete ramps at I-480 and West 130th Street in Cleveland (location map). The estimated total cost of the project is $880,000. The project was amended to the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and programmed with 100% American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding (approved 4/22/09). This project has an estimated award date of August 2009.

- This project is consistent with NOACA’s Connections 2030 Goal #3 (Preserve and Improve the Efficiency of the Transportation System) and ODOT’s Access Ohio 2004 - 2030 Goal #4 (System Preservation).
