History/Background:  ODOT District 3 is the sponsor of this 2006 bridge maintenance (bridge painting) project.

Current Conditions: The average daily traffic (ADT) varies depending on the route and pavement section.

Proposed Project: This project involves substructure sealing, deck sealing and spot painting (as needed) of the structural steel of various bridges located along I-71in Medina County. The estimated total construction cost is $1,250,000. Ninety percent (90%) of the construction (C) cost ($1,125,000) will be funded with Interstate Maintenance (IM) funds. ODOT will fund the ten percent (10%) non-federal share ($125,000). This project has a scheduled award date of April 1, 2006 (SFY 2006).
