Proposed Source of Federal Funds: Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)

History/Background: This planning /research project is included in ODOT District 12’s Safety Program.

Proposed Project: This project involves monitoring advance speed warning equipment along I-90, from West 84th Street to I-71 in Cleveland, for 32 months. The cost of the project is estimated to be $84,000. The project will be 100-percent funded with State Surface Transportation Program (S/STP) Safety Upgrading funds.

Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Team:
  • This project meets NOACA’s Connections 2030 Goal # 3 (Preserve and Improve the Efficiency of the Transportation System) and ODOT’s Access Ohio Goal # 1 (System Preservation and Management).
