History/Background:
This project is included in ODOT District 12's SFY 2003 Bridge Program

Current Conditions:
Kinsman Avenue is functionally classified as a minor arterial.  The speed limit is 45 miles per hour (mph). The average daily traffic (ADT) is 17,350 (1996 count).
GCRTA Route # 14 operates approximately every ten minutes along this section of Kinsman Avenue.

Proposed Project:
This project involves replacing the wearing surface of the Kinsman Avenue Bridge over GCRTA tracks in Cleveland. Traffic  will be maintained. Eighty percent ($920,000) of the construction (C) cost will be funded from Bridge Replacement/Rehabilitation (BR) funds.  ODOT will fund the twenty percent ($230,000) non-federal share.
