IR-76 Resurfacing

 

The Governing Board approved the following project for inclusion in the TIP by adopting Resolution No. 2000-078 on 12/8/00

History/Background:
Current Conditions:
IR-76 is functionally classified a rural interstate principal arterial.

Proposed Project:
The project involves the planing, paving and resurfacing approximately 6.8 miles of IR-76, from 0.38 mile west of IR-71 to 0.72 mile west of SR-57, in Westfield Township, Seville, Guilford Township and Wadsworth Township.
ODOT District 3 will hire a consultant to prepare the plans. Ninety percent of the project's construction cost will be funded with federal-aid Interstate Maintenance (IM) funds. Ten percent of the construction cost will funded by ODOT. Construction would be scheduled for SFY 2005.
