History/Background: These projects are included in ODOT District 12’s Program.

CUY SR-17 - 12.16: PID No. 94721 - This project involves resurfacing SR-17 (Granger Road), from the Brooklyn Heights west corporation line (WCL) to the asphalt pavement east of Tuxedo Avenue, in Brooklyn Heights (location map). Work may include modifications to several structures to add ADA (Americans with Disabilities) ramps to the intersection of SR-17 and Tuxedo Avenue. The estimated cost of construction (C) is $342,000. The construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds ($262,400). The remaining $79,600 will be funded by ODOT ($65,600) and locally ($14,000). The project will be ready to construct by April 2015.

CUY IR-71 - 10.48: PID No. 85529 - This project involves preventive maintenance (resurfacing) on IR-71, from IR-480 to the Brooklyn west corporation line (WCL), in Cleveland (location map). The project includes lighting upgrade. The estimated cost of construction (C) is $8,263,500. Ninety percent ($7,437,150) of the construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds. ODOT will provide the ten percent ($826,350) matching funds. The project will be ready to construct by January 2018.

CUY IR-271 - 09.73: PID No. 90900 - This project involves preventive maintenance (resurfacing) on IR-271 (mainline), from Fairmount Boulevard to south of Wilson Mills Road, in Beachwood, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights and Mayfield (location map). The estimated cost of construction (C) is $4,635,000. Ninety percent ($4,171,500) of the construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds. ODOT will provide the ten percent ($463,500) matching funds. The project will be ready to construct by January 2019.

GEA SR-87 - 00.00: PID No. 85601 - This project involves resurfacing SR-87 (Kinsman Road), from the Cuyahoga County Line to the Chillicothe Road (SR-306), in Russell Township (location map). The estimated cost of construction (C) is $1,030,000. Eighty percent ($824,000) of the construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds. ODOT will provide the twenty percent ($206,000) matching funds. The project will be ready to construct by January 2019.

GEA SR-528 - 01.29: PID No. 90908 - This project involves resurfacing SR-528 (Madison Road) from Nash Road (SR-88) to Kinsman Road (SR-87), in Parkman Township, Middlefield Township and the Village of Middlefield (location map). The estimated cost of construction (C) is $1,957,000. Eighty percent ($1,565,600) of the construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds. ODOT will provide the twenty percent ($391,400) matching funds. The project will be ready to construct by January 2019.

GEA SR-700 - 00.00: PID No. 85605 - This project involves resurfacing SR-700 (Claridon-Troy Road), from the Portage County Line to US-422 (Chagrin Boulevard), in Troy Township (location map). The estimated cost of construction (C) is $1,030,000. Eighty percent ($824,000) of the construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds. ODOT will provide the twenty percent ($206,000) matching funds. The project will be ready to construct by January 2019.

LAK SR-44 - 04.14: PID No. 85532 VAR - This project involves resurfacing SR-44, from north of SR-84 (Johnnycake Ridge Road ) to Headlands Park, in Painesville Township, Painesville and Grand River; and on SR-2, from SR-44 to the Painesville west corporation line (WCL), in Painesville Township, (location map). The estimated cost of construction (C) is $6,180,000. Eighty percent ($4,944,000) of the construction cost will be funded with District Preservation (Pavement and Bridge) funds. ODOT will provide the twenty percent ($1,236,000) matching funds. The project will be ready to construct by January 2019.
