The project Planning Review (PPR) and Intergovernmental Review and Consultation (IGRC) processes for this project are now complete.
Title: Resurface Greenwich Road in Medina County

History/Background: On May 2013, authorizing legislation was enacted between the Board of County Commissioners, Medina County Ohio, the Village of Seville and the Village of Westfield Center for the resurfacing on Greenwich Road, in Medina County.
Proposed Project: The proposed project involves resurfacing approximately 7.48 miles along Greenwich Road, from Harris Road to SR-3, in Harrisville, Westfield and Guilford Townships, Seville Village and the of Westfield Center Village (location map). The estimated total cost, provided by the sponsor, is $3,522,000. The sponsor requests that 80 percent ($2,817,600) of the construction cost be funded with NOACA-administered Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds. The sponsor will provide the remaining share ($704,400).

• This project is consistent with NOACA’s Connections+ 2035 Goal #3 (Preserve and Improve the Efficiency of the Transportation System).
• According to the NOACA Regional Pavement Management System (RPMS), the 2012 pavement condition rating (PCR) for this section of Greenwich Road ranges from 63 (fair condition) to 85 (good condition).
• Recommend committee and public review in order to obtain comments.
