NEW! In December 2017, NOACA's Board of Directors approved a Water Quality Strategic Plan that will guide water quality staff planning work over the next five years.
In January 2014, the NOACA Board of Directors adopted Resolution 2014-008 that amended the 208 Areawide Water Quality Management Plan to incorporate the a 90-day review period for affected jurisdictions into Chapter 4. The Resolution and its background materials provide more detail on this new policy.
Section 208 Water Quality Management Planning in Northeast Ohio Training Workshop
A workshop organized by NOACA, the Northeast Ohio Four County Regional Planning and Development Organization (NEFCO), and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) was held on March 19, 2015, for wastewater management agencies, local planners, health departments, wastewater consultants, and those interested in planning for wastewater infrastructure efficiency in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne Counties.
