Welcome to NOACA's Geographic Information System (GIS) interactive data access and mapping portal. This portal provides access to some of the agency’s geospatial resources.
GIS is an advanced technology, which allows the mapping and analysis of data tied to geographic locations. The portal allows for public use of some NOACA data products for independent research efforts.
Click here for the NOACA GIS Portal which currently offers regional information for pavement conditions, truck counts and sidewalks. Each layer from the interactive map displays a different set of characteristics from our five county street network system. The user can select the characteristics that interest them and the map will be updated to reflect their choices.
Within the layers, the main parameter’s value is color coded for better visualization. Road segment query results are shown on a separate panel and can be conveniently printed. This information should be used for planning purposes only and is a work in progress.
We welcome your feedback about the system.
