History/Background:
This project is included in ODOT District 12's SFY 2002 Bridge Program.

Current Conditions:
IR-71, IR-77, IR-90, US-422 and IR-480 are functionally classified as principal arterials.  The speed limit on these facilities is 55 miles per hour (mph). The average daily traffic (ADT) varies.

Proposed Project:
This project involves replacing the wearing surface of bridges at various locations on IR-71 over West 154th Street, in Cleveland , IR-77 over Sprague Road  in Broadview Heights and Independence and over Brookside Road in Independence,  IR-90, over Kenilworth Avenue in Cleveland, two (2) US-422 ramps at IR-271 in Warrensville Heights and IR-480 over Libby Road in Garfield Heights. Traffic will be maintained.

Ninety percent ($450,000) of the construction (C) cost will be funded from Interstate Maintenance (IM) funds.  ODOT will fund the ten percent  ($50,000) non-federal share.
