Planning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

A position in NOACA’s Transportation Division. Responsibilities include technical work (study design, data collection, field work, analyses and reports for small traffic planning studies and service requests). Qualifications: B.S. in traffic or civil engineering or related field. Associate’s degree and 2 years experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. Must be able to work in team environment.

Experience with the following strongly preferred: intersection and arterial studies, signal warrants and coordination, traffic impact studies, traffic calming, traffic forecasting using TranPlan, safety studies.

Salary dependent on qualifications.
