History/Background:
This project is included in ODOT District 12's SFY 2001 Bridge Program and would be funded from the district's bridge allocation.

Current Conditions:
The Eddy Road bridge, over I-90, is a four lane facility, with a 52' roadway width (curb to curb), a 4' median and 6' sidewalks. The speed limit on Eddy Road is 35 mph.  The average daily traffic (ADT) on the Eddy Road bridge is 27,850 vehicles per day. 

Proposed Project:
This project involves the deck replacement of the Eddy Road bridge, over the CSX  railroad, adjacent to I-90, in Cleveland. 90-percent ($657,000) of the construction (C) cost will be funded with Interstate Maintenance (IM) funds.  The non-federal share of construction ($73,000) will be provided by ODOT.  Construction is expected in SFY 2001.
