Proposed Source of Federal Funds: ODOT
History/Background: This project is included in ODOT District 12’s 2007 Major Bridge Program.
Current Conditions: IR-90 is functionally classified as an urban principal arterial interstate. The legal speed limit is 55 miles per hour (mph). The average daily traffic (ADT) is 134,650 vehicles per day (1996 count). GCRTA operates Flyer service along this segment.
Proposed Project: This project involves completing the deck replacement on the east approach of the Innerbelt Bridge, over the Cuyahoga River and Conrail railroad, in Cleveland. This work was non-performed from a previously completed project. The estimated total construction cost of the project is $1,300,000. Ninety percent ($1,170,000) of the cost will be funded with Interstate Maintenance (IM) funds. ODOT will fund the ten percent ($130,000) non-federal share. This project has an estimated award date of January 1, 2007 (SFY 2007).

Recommend this project go to the Regional Transportation Investment Subcommittee (RTIS) and Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) for consideration.
