NOACA uses various demographic and transportation-related data in its transportation planning efforts. For example, NOACA uses household and work-trip data to model current traffic conditions as well as “predict” the transportation needs of the future. Below is a sampling of data that NOACA uses for routine transportation planning, as well as for input to the Transportation Plan, Major Investment Studies, Transportation for Livable Communities Initiative (TLCI) and other traffic studies.
