Title: Maintenance of Various Bridges in Cuyahoga County

Proposed Source of Federal Funds: ODOT
History/Background: This project is included in ODOT District 12’s State Fiscal Year 2010 Bridge Maintenance Program.
Current Conditions: Roadway characteristics and average daily traffic vary depending on roadway segment.
Proposed Project: This project involves preventive and/or reactive maintenance to various bridges at locations along US-6, I-71, I-77, I-90, SR-176, US-422 and I-490 in and around the City of Cleveland (location map). The estimated construction cost is $2,200,000. Approximately ninety percent ($1,968,010) of the construction cost will be funded from District 12’s Preservation (highways & bridges) Program. ODOT will fund ten percent of the construction cost ($231,990). This project has an award date of February 4, 2010.

Plan and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Team:
- This project is consistent with NOACA’s Connections 2030 Plan Goal #3 (Preserve and Improve the Efficiency of the Transportation System) and ODOT’s Access Ohio 2004 - 2030 Goals #1 (Transportation Safety) and #3 (Efficient, Reliable Traffic Flow).
- Recommend committee and public review in order to obtain comments.
