The City of Cleveland is 77 square miles with a U.S. Bureau of the Census 2006 population estimate of 444,313. The founder was Moses Cleveland.

Public transit is provided by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. Airport service is provided by Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Burke Lakefront Airport. Mayor Frank Jackson is a NOACA Governing Board member.
