Title: Bridge Repairs at Various Locations in
Cuyahoga County Sponsor: Ohio Department of Transportation
(ODOT) District 12 PID No.: 84986 Estimated Total
Cost: $2,000,000 Proposed Source of Federal Funds:
ODOT
History/Background: This project is included in
ODOT District 12’s SFY 2011 Bridge Maintenance Program.
Current Conditions: Roadway characteristics and
average daily traffic vary depending on roadway segment.
Proposed Project: This project involves miscellaneous
repairs to 14 bridges located along SR-10, SR-21, SR-176, SR-237,
US-6A, US-20, I-71, I-77, I-90 and I-480, in Cuyahoga County (location map). The estimated
construction cost is $2,000,000. A portion ($720,000) of the
construction cost will be funded with State Surface Transportation
Program funds; $592,000 of the cost will be funded with Interstate
Maintenance (IM) funds; $288,000 of the cost will be funded with
Bridge (BR) funds; and $400,000 of the cost will be funded by ODOT.
The project is has an award date of January 2011.

bridges have General Appraisal ratings in which the overall
condition of these bridges is between fair condition (5) and good
condition (7). The sufficiency rating evaluates separate factors
to obtain a numeric value which is indicative of bridge
sufficiency to remain in service. The ratings are between 0 and
100 with 100 being a completely sufficient bridge and 0 being a
completely deficient bridge.
