The NOACA Governing Board approved the following project for inclusion in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) by adopting Resolution No. 2003-049 on September 12, 2003.
Title: Resurfacing US-20 in North Ridgeville Sponsor: Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 3 Estimated Total Cost: $682,300 Proposed Source of Federal Funds: ODOT
History/Background: This project is included in ODOT District 3’s Urban Paving Program.
Current Conditions: US-20 (Center Ridge Road) is functionally classified as an urban principal arterial. The average daily traffic (ADT) along US-20 varies between 13,190 and 18,090 vehicles per day (2000 count).
Proposed Project: This project involves resurfacing approximately 6 miles of US-20, from the North Ridgeville west corporation line to the North Ridgeville east corporation line (ECL), in North Ridgeville. The total construction cost is estimated to be $682,300. Eighty percent (80%) of the construction cost ($545,840) will be funded with State Surface Transportation Program (S/STP) funds. North Ridgeville will provide the remaining twenty percent (20%) of the construction cost ($136,460). The project is to be awarded by July 2004.
