Resurfacing SR-94 in Wadsworth

 

The NOACA Governing Board approved the following project for inclusion in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) by adopting Resolution No. 2003-049 on September 12, 2003.

Title: Resurfacing SR-94 in Wadsworth

Estimated Total Cost: $537,000
Proposed Source of Federal Funds: ODOT

History/Background:
This project is included in ODOT District 3’s Urban Paving Program.

Current Conditions:
SR-94 (Main Street/High Street) is functionally classified as an urban minor arterial. The average daily traffic (ADT) along SR-94 varies between 5,050 and 25,230 vehicles per day (1999 count).

Proposed Project:
This project involves resurfacing 4.6 miles of SR-94, from the Wadsworth south corporation line (SCL) to the Wadsworth north corporation line (NCL) in the City of Wadsworth. The total construction cost is estimated to be $537,000. Sixty percent ($322,000) of the construction (C) cost will be funded with ODOT District 3’s allocation of Surface Transportation Program (S/STP) funds. Wadsworth will provide the forty percent ($215,000) non-federal share. The project is to be awarded in June 2004
