History/Background: ODOT District 12 is the sponsor of this project.

Current Conditions: The average daily traffic (ADT) varies depending on the route and interchange.

Proposed Project: This project involves landscaping and tree planting at the following interchange locations: I-271/Rockside Road in Bedford Heights; I-271/Cedar Road in Lyndhurst; I-271/Wilson Mills Road in Highland Heights and Mayfield; I-480/Warrensville Center Road in Maple Heights and North Randall; I-77/Wallings Road in Broadview Heights; I-480/Tiedeman Road, in Brooklyn; I-480/Stearns Road in North Olmsted; I-480/Broadview Road in Cleveland; I-71/Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights; I-71/Snow Road in Brook Park; and US-422/SR-91 in Solon.

The estimated construction cost is $660,000. Ninety percent of the construction cost ($594,000) will be funded with State Surface Transportation Program (S/STP) funds. ODOT will fund ten percent of the construction cost ($66,000). The project is expected to be awarded in September 2007.
